The CIRE is part of CIRO's proficiency model. It is required for many roles at investment dealers, including Registered Representatives and Investment Representatives. Depending on your role, another exam may also apply, such as the Retail Securities Exam or the Institutional Securities Exam.

Yes. CIROPrep modules include English and French versions of the lessons, practice questions, explanations and review tools. You can study in either language and switch between them as you need.

CIROPrep writes its own study materials based on the official CIRE syllabus.
